We specialize in garden-inspired floral designs, each with a natural, whimsical aesthetic. In addition to our floral services, we specialize in wedding planning, coordination, and design. Our attention to detail and ability to work within your budget means you and your family can relax and enjoy your wedding day!

Mother's Bouquet

Our journey begins in 1977 with the establishment of Mother's Bouquet, a florist shop in Pinson, AL.

Run by my grandmother and her sister, my Aunt Fay, their shop specialized in floral designs for all occasions, as well as catering and other wedding services. It wasn't long before their small business became a beloved staple in the Birmingham area.

For years, they carefully selected and arranged beautiful blooms to create stunning bouquets and designs that brought joy to many. In time, Grammy pursued other business ventures and Aunt Fay eventually sold Mother's Bouquet, but the memories of the shop and the joy it brought to others remained close to the heart of the family.

Powell's Bouquet

After a rebrand in 2024, we now operate as Powell's Bouquet, paying tribute to my Grammy and Aunt Fay's original shop and their passion for bringing happiness to others.

I, Jacqueline, am the primary owner and operator of the business, but the entire family works together to continue the tradition of our Grammy's legacy. We carefully select and arrange each bloom with care and attention to detail, just as she did, to ensure that every bride receives a stunning bouquet that brings a smile to their face.

Sis Floral & Events

Fast forward to 2020, my sister Taylor and I decided to revive the former business of our grandmother and her sister by re-founding the company as Sis Floral and Events. We inherited our grandmother's affinity for planning events and spent our entire lives watching her create special moments for others. Taylor also followed Grammy's passion for baking, so it wasn't much of a surprise that we would want to continue the family legacy of spreading joy through flowers and weddings.

We worked together to thoughtfully plan and design countless weddings, parties and special events for our clients, and enjoyed working alongside each other to create lifelong memories for others and their families.

My passion in life has always been to create something beautiful; this plus a long family history of event planning and helping others equated to the beginning of a new career and dream.

The purpose behind Powell's Bouquet is to facilitate lifelong memories,

joy and thoughtfulness for couples and their guests. As a family-owned business, we take pride in providing weddings with a southern charm that is down-to-earth and laid-back. I want this to feel like home at the end of a long day, and for you to feel like part of our family!

My floral designs are inspired by my Grammy's garden, incorporating the whimsical beauty of nature into every arrangement. One of my favorite things in the entire world is creating a floral design that captures a person's unique style and leaves a lasting impression.

Love is the foundation of everything we create, and nothing would make me happier than to help you and your partner celebrate YOUR love.
